The American Basketball Association is an American professional basketball league, which was founded in 1999. It is not to be confused with the American Basketball Association, which until its merger with the NBA in 1976 existed from 1967.

In the ABA Red Conference also a Chinese team Beijing Olympian Olympians plays. The teams Mexicali and Tijuana Dragons Sentinels from Mexico and teams from Canada ( Montreal matrix, etc.) play here.
