American College of Surgeons

The American College of Surgeons ( ACS) is an American surgical specialist company based in Chicago, which was founded in 1913. Members may lead to additional FACS ( Fellow, American College of Surgeons ) after their name. With approximately 78,000 members, including 4,000 in other countries, the ACS is by his own admission, the largest surgical society in the world.
