American Law Reports
The American Law Reports publish collections of selected decisions in the U.S. legal system.
For the practice and science are the American Law Reports (in short: ALR ), published by the Lawyers Co-operative Publishing Co., the most significant series of so-called "Selected Cases" ( the rulings ).
Especially the annotations ( " annotation " ) are considered useful. It is usual in the case A.L.R. appearing decisions to quote the local reference alongside the official reference.
