Formation

The album was produced by Ted Hutt and incorporated in New York's Magic Shop Studio. On March 23, 2010, the first single, American Slang, published on the website.

Reception

On Metacritic.com the album received an average score of 80/100 from 29 reviews. In Rolling Stone magazine Christian Hoard awarded 3.5 out of 5 stars and wrote, American slang would significantly with advanced sound therefore, the choruses were elaborated. Brian Fallon's lyrics had but sometimes a bit "forced".
