Amine Chermiti (2009)

Amine Chermiti (Arabic محمد أمين الشرميطي, DMG Muḥammad Amīn aš - Šarmīṭī; born December 26, 1987 in Sfax ) is a Tunisian football player.

Career

Chermiti began his career at Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise. For the 2006/07 season he joined Étoile Sportive du Sahel. In 2007 he was with Étoile Sportive du Sahel Tunisian champion and winner of the CAF Champions League. He also had eight goals scored the top scorer in the CAF Champions League. In addition, he was elected Player of the Year in 2007 in Tunisia.

With the Tunisian national football team Chermiti participated in the Africa Cup of 2008 and African Cup of Nations, 2010. Amine Chermiti and Yassine Chikhaoui are the achievers of the current Tunisian national squad.

Hertha BSC undertook the young Tunisians for the season 2008/09. The transfer fee was 2.2 million euros.

Amine Chermiti was borrowed for the 2009/10 season at the Saudi Arabian top club Al -Ittihad.

In early July 2010, he signed with FC Zurich a temporary four-year contract.
