Amir Mokri

Amir M. Mokri (Persian امیر مکری; * June 11, 1956 in Iran ) is an Iranian cinematographer.

Life

The Amir M. Mokri native Iranian who emigrated to the USA in 1977 and after at Emerson College in Boston, he graduated in 1981 he graduated from the American Film Institute in 1982 in Los Angeles. Then he tried to work in the film industry, what with him several short films succeeded, including 1986 All You Can Dream as a cameraman. With his camera work at Slamdance and Life Is Cheap ... But Toilet Paper Is Expensive, he was nominated for Best Cinematography each of the Independent Spirit Awards. With Jerry Bruckheimer productions as Coyote Ugly, Bad Boys II and The Book of Secrets is Mokri could finally prevail as a cameraman in Hollywood.

In parallel to the film Mokri also worked as a cameraman for countless commercials such as McDonald's, FedEx, Snickers and Audi.

Amir Mokri is married to the producer Winnie Fredriksz.
