Amlikon-Bissegg
Amlikon is a municipality in the district of Rheinfelden in the canton of Thurgau wine in Switzerland.
History
Amlikon was formed on January 1, 1995 the former local municipalities Amlikon, Bissegg, Griesenberg and Strohwilen. It is a typical rural community in eastern Switzerland, with many villages, hamlets and farmsteads.

Segelflugplatz
On the southern bank of the Thur north of the village Amlikon located since 1963 in the glider field Amlikon (ICAO code LSPA ), which serves the Segelfluggruppe Cumulus as a home base. It was created after the airfield on the Allmend in Frauenfeld was required by the military.
Attractions
The village square of Amlikon is very picturesque with its beautiful half-timbered buildings.
In the hamlet Leutmerken is a parity church, which was first mentioned in 1275, renovations were made in 1462 and later. The nave walls are still Romanesque to the window sill height, the part about it and the choir date from the year 1634, the tower from the year 1556.
