Amos Tirop Matui

Amos Tirop Matui ( born May 27, 1976) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon distance.

2003 Matui won the Baden- Marathon in 2:17:59 hours. In 2004 he was at the Hannover Marathon in 2:13:21 hours Second, winning the Hamburg Half Marathon in 1:05:26 hours. At the Brussels Marathon, he finished in 2:12:14 hours in fourth place. In 2005 he won the Casablanca Marathon in 2:14:34 hours and the Singapore Marathon in 2:15:55 hours. The following year he was at the Ottawa Marathon in a personal best of 2:10:32 hours by third parties and defended his title in Singapore in 2:15:01 hours successfully.

2007 occupied Matui in Ottawa in 2:14:11 hours and the seventh in Singapore in 2:14:25 hours in second place. The next year he was at the Ottawa Marathon in 2:15:15 hours by third parties. In 2009 he won the Nashville Marathon in 2:13:41 hours. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi he won with a time of 2:15:58 hours, the bronze medal in the marathon.

2011 Matui was the Hannover Marathon with a personal best time of 2:10:07 hours by third parties.
