Amritapuri ( Malayalam അമൃതപുരി Amṛtapuri ) is a village in Kerala in India about 120 km north of Thiruvananthapuram and 120 km south of Kochi. He is known by the ashram of Mata Amritanandamayi. Originally called the village Parayakadavu, which meant so much as a pariah shore. The majority of the inhabitants belongs to the caste of Arayan.

In Amritapuri is the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Engineering School.
