Amstetten District

The District is the westernmost district of Amstetten in Lower Austria. The area of the district is separated by the Statutory Waidhofen an der Ybbs in two parts. The District Amstetten has offices in The Hague and St. Valentine.

Administrative divisions

The district Amstetten is divided into three towns, 18 market towns and 13 municipalities.

The most important of the abbreviations used are:

  • M = center of the municipality
  • Stt = district
  • R = Rotte
  • W = hamlet
  • D = village
  • ZH = Scattered houses
  • Sdlg = settlement
  • E = bowery (only if they have their own locality code)
