Amu Djoleto

Solomon Alexander Amu Djoleto (* 1929) is a Ghanaian writer, novelist and poet.

Training

Djoleto was trained at the Accra Academy and moved to the St. Augustine 's College later. His training included Djoleto at University College of the Gold Coast in the former British colony of the Gold Coast, now Ghana from. After working in the Ministry of Education of the Ghanaian government Djoleto studied at the University of London in the UK at the Institute of Education Sciences. During these studies he devoted himself to the playbook development.

Career

Djoleto worked for the government in Ghana in the 1960s the Ministry of Education.

After his studies in education in London Djoleto returned to Ghana and became editor of the Ghana Teachers' Journal. Djoleto played in the educational policy of his home country of Ghana an important role, since he was the Director of the Ghana Book Development Council 's ( Ghanaian Council for book development) and also acted as advisor to the Ghanaian government during the education reform.
