The Amur Oblast (Russian Амурская область / Amurskaja oblast ) is an oblast ( district) in Russia.

The oblast is located in the Federal District Far East on the Chinese border. The Amur River is the limit, its main tributaries in the oblast are the Zeya and Bureya. The Stanowoigebirge forms the border with the Republic of Sakha.

History
