Amy Huberman

Amy Huberman (* March 1979 in Dublin) is an Irish actress and writer.

Life

Huberman grew up in Cabinteely. She has a younger and an older brother. Her brother, Mark Huberman is also an actor.

After visiting the Loreto College, Foxrock, she studied at University College Dublin ( UCD), where she met at UCD DramSoc Chris O'Dowd.

In 2001, she received her first role in the RTÉ television series On Home Ground. In 2003 she took over the role of receptionist Daisy O'Callaghan, she played until 2009 in more than 60 episodes in the television series The Clinic. Later, numerous other roles followed in television productions and films.

Aside from acting, Huberman also began to write. Her first novel, Hello Heartbreak was released in 2009 and quickly became a bestseller. The second novel I Wished For You followed in 2013.

Huberman is in a relationship with the Irish national rugby player Brian O'Driscoll since 2007. The couple married in 2010. In February 2013 their first child, a daughter, was born.
