Amy Kuney

Amy Kuney (* 1985) is an American musician. She is a singer, composer, and instrumentalist.

Life

Kuney is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. From the age of five she began piano lessons and participated in during her childhood in church music scene. As a twelve year old wrote the lyrics and composed her first song.

As a thirteen year old, she moved with her ​​family to Honduras. As a 16 - year-old she began to bring himself to play the guitar. During a trip to Guatemala, which they undertook together with friends as 17 -year-old, she was kidnapped. The experiences that she made while she processed later in the song How the Wind Must Feel.

In 2005 and 2006 she wrote and sang songs in two episodes of the television series Gilmore Girls. In August 2008, she released the studio album Bird's Eye View. In March 2009 she received an award for the song Thank You For Last Night.

Together with the actors Austin Nichols and Sophia Bush, she created a charity CD entitled Gasoline Rainbows, the proceeds will be donated to 100 % of the victims of the oil disaster in Mexico.
