An Cafe
An Cafe ( japアンティック-珈 琲 店(カフェ) - antikku kafe for Antic Cafe or Antique Cafe also ) is a J-rock and Oshare Kei band from Japan. The band was founded in March 2003.
History
According to the official founding Version Bou got to his 17th birthday by his parents tickets for a Luna Sea concert that inspired him so much that he bought an electric guitar and his friend Miku asked if he would like a band to reasons. Teruki they learned about a Visual Kei know forum and cannon through chats on the internet. Bou suggested for the band the name Manhattan Cafe, which was related to his favorite horse, but the others rejected this. They agreed to Athletic cafe, but from what then Antic Cafe Antique Cafe and finally was. Then they went to Tokyo to record their first demo tape.
Their first demo tape called O- PU NGU. It was limited to 50 copies and was distributed free of charge on 17 June 2003. On July 2, followed by the second demo tape with the name Uzumaki - Senshokutai, this time with 300. On August 10, they participated in a meeting organized by Calmando agony event with other lesser known bands. On September 22, they played alongside more well-known bands such as Duel Jewel on another event.
The year 2004 marked An Cafe with a Twomen tour with a Sinkro. They also signed a record deal with the label Loop Ash. Three months later, they released their first maxi-single Candy Holic, with whom she recorded successes in the Oricon charts. Meanwhile, several albums and singles are available.
After the concert on 30 April 2007 Bou left the band for personal reasons, such as Miku confirmed in an interview with the magazine Peach. Bou was replaced by guitarist Takuya, also came keyboardist Yu -ki added as the fifth member, who was unofficial member until then.
As part of the J -Shock festival in Cologne in 2007 they gave their first concert in Europe. In spring 2008, An Cafe made a European tour with 5 concerts in Germany, the name Nyappy 0 ( ≧ ∀ ≦ ) 0 go around the world .. An Cafe Live Cafe Tour '08 had. In 2009, the Nyappy Go Around the World 2 tour took place.
In August 2009, the band announced that they retire for the time being and will interrupt their activities for some time, after a final show in 2010 at the Nippon Budokan. An Cafe insured at this show once again that they do not separate and announced to a show titled 20XX SUMMER DIVE on.
Shortly afterwards, there were already about plans of the band in various solo projects, among which there was also the release of Miku's book "可爱 汤' s ЯocКレシピ/ Kawayu 's ЯocК Recipe". In Tokyo Laforet Department Store a separate event was held at autograph session for the occasion.
On 1 April 2012, the band released a live stream her comeback known. A new mini-album and the live show ANCAFESTA'12 「 SUMMER DIVE 」 were announced here. August 8, 2012 their third mini-album Amazing blue appeared. In November 2012 her third world tour began.
