Ana Cabecinha

Ana Cabecinha ( born April 29, 1984 in Santiago Maior, Beja ) is a Portuguese athlete who had reached the eighth place in the 20 - kilometer walk at the 2008 Olympic Games.

Cabecinha 2003 won the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships in the 10,000 m track walking. 2005 and 2008 she won the Portuguese Cup over this distance. 2006 and 2010 she won both at the Ibero-American Championships in the 10,000 meters.

2005 Cabecinha occupied the fourth place at the U23 European Championships in the 20 -kilometer road walking. In the 2008 Olympics she finished in eighth place on 20 km and went there in 1:27:46 personal best; it was to be the best Portuguese two places ahead of Vera Santos.
