Anabar District

Anabar is a district on the island nation of Nauru, in the northeast of the island. It is bordered by Ewa and Baiti in the southwest, to Anetan in the west, on the southeast and Ijuw Anibare to the south. It is located 1.5 km ² and has 452 inhabitants. There are a Protestant chapel. Anabar is part of the same constituency Anabar.

Anabar takes its name from the homonymous village Anabar; according to Paul Hambruch it means " little earth " or " hard as a rock ," which is due to there is little fertile coastal zone.
