Analytica is an international trade fair for laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology.
About the fair
Analytica is around 1,000 exhibitors and over 30,000 visitors, the International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis and Biotechnology and has been held since 1968 every two years on the grounds of Messe München. Exhibition focuses on the areas of analysis and quality control, Biotechnology / Life Sciences / Diagnostics and laboratory technology. Visitors are decision-makers and users from the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, automotive and medical as well as industrial and government research organizations.

Analytica Conference
The exhibition area of analytica is accompanied by the analytica Conference. The international conference informed about the current state and development prospects of the analysis. Topics include basic and applied research and development of analytical methods in chemistry, diagnostics, molecular biology and biochemistry. 2012 took 1,700 visitors attended the event. The three-day scientific dialogue is organized by "Forum Analytik ", the three German companies German Chemical Society ( German Chemical Society ), Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology ( GBM) and German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine ( DGKL ).

In addition to the above-mentioned conference include more forums and special shows on the supporting program of the fair.
- Live Labs: special show with three built laboratories. On display are various experiments of current topics, such as Plastics analysis, food analysis and life sciences.
- Special show Occupational Safety and security: For the first time in 2014 as part of the Live Labs, the special show Occupational Safety and security with live demonstrations.
- Biotech Forum: Life science get tips here for daily laboratory work.
- Laboratory & Analytics Forum: Exhibitor analytica offering practical and application-relevant tips for laboratory practice.
- Finance Day: Addressed life science entrepreneurs and investors. Focuses on financing trends and models around biotechnology.
- Analytica Job Day: Consists of the jobvector career day and the Student Day. The jobvector career day aimed at professionals such as scientists, engineers and technicians. The Students' informed about various job profiles in the industry.
- Training and continuing education program: Together with consulting firm Klinkner & Partner, the fair offers a range of courses for laboratory experts.
Analytica world
Analytica is part of an international network of trade and has three subsidiary events in Asia: The analytica China since 2000 addressed one of the most important growth markets in the industry and takes place every two year cycle in Shanghai, China, instead. Analytica Anacon India offers since 1999 an insight into the development of analytical instrumentation, biotechnology and laboratory technology in the Indian market. Analytica Vietnam is the youngest branch of the trade fair analytica.
