Ananda Krishnan

Ananda Krishnan ( born April 1, 1938 in Kuala Lumpur ) is a Malaysian entrepreneur.

Life

Krishnan comes from a Sri Lankan Tamil family. he visited de Vivekananda Tamil School in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur, and then the Victoria Institution in Kuala Lumpur. At the University of Melbourne, Australia, he studied political science. Krishnan is Chairman of the Malaysian company Usaha Tegas Group Holdings. His is the Malaysian company MAY Holdings. His company network extends to the energy sector, in the lottery industry in the telecommunications market ( CEO of Maxis Communications and MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems ), to the media. According to the American Forbes Magazine Krishnan is one of the richest Malaysians. Krishnan is married and has three children.
