Ananias of Damascus

Ananias is a biblical man.

Ananias is found in Acts 9:10-19. He is asked in a vision of God, a certain Saul of Tarsus (later Paul), who is known as a cruel persecutor of Christians to seek outside the city, lay his hands and so to heal him of his blindness. Ananias doing as he was told, the miracle happens and Saul converted to Christianity in Damascus, which is the proverbial Damascus experience.
