Anaphylatoxin

Anaphylatoxins are degradation products of the immune system of multicellular animals. There are proteins, activated partial complexes of the complement system, which release histamine in acute allergic reactions by triggering of mast cells decay. The anaphylatoxins of people are capitalized from C3, C4 and C5 components C3a, C4a and C5a.

Physiology

Cause anaphylatoxins

  • Spasms of smooth muscle fibers, such as bronchospasm
  • Increasing the permeability of the capillaries caused by histamine release from mast cells ( histamine effect)
  • Increasing chemotaxis, ie biochemical reactions triggered movement, for example, white blood cells
