Anas Sharbini

Anas Sharbini (born 21 February 1987 in Rijeka, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Croatian football player. He stands at Hajduk Split under contract. In the 2012/13 season he played on loan with the Saudi Arabian club Al- Ittihad.

Career

Association

Sharbini, son of a Palestinian and a Croatian, began his career in the youth team of his home club HNK Rijeka. Since 2005, Anas Sharbini played for the first team of HNK Rijeka in the Croatian first HNL League. In summer 2009, he moved to HNK Hajduk Split. In 2012 he was voted the best best player in the Croatian league.

In 2012 he moved on loan to Saudi Arabian club Al- Ittihad.

Since 2013 in NK Rijeka.

National

For Croatian junior national teams Sharbiani denied a total of 29 games (10 goals). Croatia coach Slaven Bilic called him on call for the Euro 2008, but a subsequent nomination did not take place. His international debut was on October 8, 2009 in a friendly against Qatar.

Private

Sharbinis brother, Ahmed, is also football player and played together with Anas 2009-2012 together with Hajduk Split.
