Anastasia of Kiev
Anastasia of Kiev (* 1021, † 1096 ) from the dynasty of Rurik was Queen of Hungary.
She was born as the daughter of Grand Prince Yaroslav I. Vladimirovich of Kiev.
In 1037/38 she was married to the later Hungarian King Andrew I. after this previously unknown with a Hungarian pagan name was married.
The couple had three children, the eldest son, Solomon was determined by his father to succeed him. Andrew I died in 1060 and Queen Anastasia spent her remaining 14 years of life under the name Agmunda as a nun in Admont.
