Anatoly Kuznetsov

Anatoly Vasilievich Kuznetsov (Russian: Анатолий Кузнецов; born August 18, 1929 in Kiev, † June 13, 1979 in London) was a Russian writer who his experiences in Kiev under the German occupation during the Second World War in the internationally acclaimed work Babi Yar. A documentary novel wrote. The book was first published - in censored form - in Russian in 1966.

After the Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 Kusznezow decided to move to London. He managed to take his uncensored manuscript as a movie. In 1970 the work appeared in the West in full length under the pseudonym A. Anatoli. The proportion of censored edition was marked.
