Anatoly Lebedko

Anatol Ljabedska, also Ljabedzka (White Russian Анатоль Лябедзька; * June 27, 1961 in Minsk Woblasz, USSR, and today Belarus ) is a Belarusian politician and chairman of the United Civil Party of Belarus.

Life

Ljabedska counts since the 1990s, the most determined critics of the Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko. Several times he was arrested for his participation in demonstrations against the ruling regime. In May 2010, met the President of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, demonstratively with Anatol Ljabedska to show the EU's support for the opposition parties in Belarus.
