My days with Pierre - my nights with Jacqueline ( La vie conjugale ) is a two-part feature film by André Cayatte of 1964, which was also shown under the title A young marriage, in two parts at a time.

The two-parter tells the story of a couple from two perspectives: Jean -Marc ou La vie conjugale from the man (Jacques Charrier ) view, Françoise ou La vie conjugale from the perspective of the woman ( Marie -José Nat ). The film was premiered in Germany in 1964 and in East Germany in 1966.

Action

André Cayatte describes a seven-year marriage and its failure. Françoise and Jean -Marc have the same school, in love and marry, as they are expecting a child. After graduating from law school, Jean- Marc needs in the province and his wife follows him. But soon she starts now housewife to miss the delights of the capital. As Françoise again starts to work and Jean -Marc has stress in his office, there will be disagreements first. On the road to divorce to reconcile the two - for now ...
