Andamooka, South Australia

Andamooka is a place located about 600 km north of Adelaide in the outback of South Australia. Opal was found in this area in 1930 and it created a city of Opalsuchern. The Andamooka Opal Fields Post Office was built from 13 January 1947, renamed in 1990 in Andamooka.
