Andaz Apna Apna (Hindi: अंदाज़ अपना अपना, Andaz Apna Apna, dt: "Everyone has his own style ") is a Bollywood comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi from the year 1994.

Action

Prem is a slacker and a daydreamer who wants to get rich quick. When he learns that the filthy rich Raveena from London has come to India to find a husband, he decides to try his luck. On his way he meets on the bus Amar, who is also a slacker and also dreams of making the acquaintance with Raveena. When they find out that they both had the same plan, they constantly try to out do each other to draw a line in the works. But they do not know that Raveena and her secretary Karisma have changed roles because Raveena wants to find true love and not just someone who has it in their money.

In order to win the trust of Raveenas father, Prem Amar and hatch a plan. The two want to kidnap him only to then save it back from captivity. What they do not know is that the evil twin brother of the father also plans to kidnap him. And so Amar and Prem send their men to kidnap the rich father. But the men of the evil twin brother take the father at the handover and Prem and Amar are finding that they now really need to save Raveenas father.

Well it turns out that the evil twin brother also has an enemy, Crime Master Gogo. He holds Raveena, Karisma to lay their fathers and the twin brother hostage with him. Now all need to be rescued from Amar Prem and what they then succeed.

Awards

The film was at the Indian Filmfare Awards in four categories ( Best Picture, Director, Best Actor Aamir Khan, Shakti Kapoor as the best comedian ) nominated, but could not prevail against the competition itself.
