Anders Bording

Anders Christensen bording, ( born January 21, 1619 Ribe, † May 24, 1677 ) was a Danish poet.

Unlike bording was a lecturer in theology at the school in Ribe. In 1666 he moved to Copenhagen, where King Frederick III. he transferred the publication of the first Danish political newspaper The Mercury danske which appeared every month in rhyme from 1666 to 1677.

Even before he was known for his songs. His poems were without aesthetic value. You could see in his poetry for the first time that the Danish language eminently suited to the rhymes, thus bording received his actual importance in the history of Danish poetry.
