Anders Eggert Magnussen ( born May 14, 1982 in Aarhus ) is a Danish handball player.

His club is SG Flensburg -Handewitt. He plays on the left wing position. Now he lives in Flensburg Civil and Insurance is 1,79 m tall and 79 kg.

Career

Eggert began his career at the age of five years at Aarhus neighborhood association Brabrand IF, with whom he won the prestigious youth tournament in Northern Jutland Thisted Thy Cup 1994. In 1999 he moved to Jutland neighboring club Silkeborg KFUM who shuttled between first and second Danish league. Four years later, the seven-time Danish champion and six-time Cup winner GOG Svendborg took him under contract. With the Gudmern 2004 he was Danish champion, and in 2003 and 2005 Cup Winners' Cup. Here he became the national team and was considered the best left winger of the Danish league. From the 2006/07 season he played for the SG Flensburg -Handewitt. There he got behind the Danish record national player Lars Christiansen few periods of use. However, since Christiansen extended in autumn 2007 his contract again until 2010, Eggert was loaned for the season 2008/ 09 on the Danish first division club Skjern Håndbold. In the 2010/11 season with 248 goals Eggert was top scorer in the Bundesliga.

Internationals

At the age of 18 years Eggert first played for the Under-19. Only a year later, he was first appointed to the U21 team for which he scored an average of six goals. His senior international debut Anders Eggert on 6 June 2003 in Antwerp against Hungary in an international tournament, but he scored three goals. At the European Championship 2012 in Serbia he was European champion. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London. In the Handball World Championship 2013 in Spain he was mixed with 55 goals scorer and with Denmark second in the tournament. At the European Championships in 2014 in his own country, he was Vice-European Champion.
