Anders Hillborg

Anders Borg Hill ( born May 31, 1954 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a Swedish composer.

From 1976 to 1982 he studied counterpoint, composition and electronic music at the Music Academy in Stockholm with Gunnar Bucht, Lars -Erik Rosell, Arne Mellnäs and Pär Lindgren. By Brian Ferneyhough, a guest lecturer at the College of Music Stockholm, he received an important impetus for his composition work. Since 1992 he has been a visiting professor at the Academy of Music in Malmö.

Hill Borg wrote works for symphony orchestra, concert band, choir, chamber music, film and pop music. 1991 was the Christ the Johnsons Music Prize. His work Både Celestial Mechanics for solo strings and his Violin Concerto were equipped at the composition competition of UNESCO with a recommendation.
