Anders Krohn

Anders Krohn (born 15 November 1987 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian race car driver. He took from 2010 to 2012 at the Indy Lights in part.

Career

Krohn began his motorsport career in 1996 at the age of eight years in karting. Since he was only allowed to participate with eleven years kart racing in Norway, he first started in the UK and Sweden to kart racing. Krohn remained until 2006 active in karting and won several championship titles. Among other things, he was in 2003 Norwegian ICA Kart Champion, 2004 Norwegian Formula A Karting Champion, 2005 Nordic ICC kart champion and in 2006 Norwegian ICC kart champion.

After Krohn 2006 was first grown in the Swedish Junior Touring Car Championship ( JTCC ), a Touring Car Championship, eleventh, 2007, he moved to Formula racing. With six wins from 13 races he was behind Francesco Pastorelli runner-up of the Benelux Formula Ford 2008 Krohn joined to two other races in this series and finished 21st overall. However, his main focus was on a different racing series: Krohn joined the North American F2000 Championship Series. Starting for Andersen Racing won the race driver 9 of 14 races and decided to fight for the title with 570 to 422 points with team-mate Jonny Baker clearly for itself. 2009 saw Krohn in the Star Mazda Series to Mundill. He won a race and finished the season in sixth place in the drivers' rating. 2010 Krohn remained in this championship and returned to Andersen Racing. Although he did not win a race, and three second places were his best results, Krohn was runner-up behind Conor Daly. He also made ​​his debut for his team in the Indy Lights and finished with a starting 29 place in the drivers' standings.

2011 Krohn went for Belardi Auto Racing in the Indy Lights at the start. Two fifth places were his best results and he finished the season off on the seventh rank. Internal team he lost to Jorge Goncalvez with 333 to 371 points. 2012 Krohn joined Bryan Herta Autosport for on to two Indy Lights race. He finished 20th in the driver standings.
