Anders Nordberg

Anders Nordberg ( born February 17, 1978 in Skien ) is a Norwegian orienteering.

A native of the fylke Telemark Nordberg began at Skien OK with the orienteering. After three appearances at the Junior World Championships, where he was fourth in the relay Norway twice, he ran from 2000 for the club Kristiansand OK. Was used International Nordberg from 2004, when he bronze medal on the middle distance behind Thierry Gueorgiou immediately won at the World Championships in Västerås, Sweden from France and Valentin Novikov of Russia. In 2005 he was in Notodden Nordic champion on medium - and long- distance. A third gold medal he won in the relay. In 2006 and 2007 he ran for the club Bækkelagets SK. During this time he won World Championship bronze in the long distance, the O- rings and took second place in the overall World Cup. From 2008 finally launched for Halden SK. There followed two Vice World Championships on the long distance and the victory at the Jukola with Halden 2010. Since 2011 runs Nordberg for the Finnish club Vaajakosken Terae.

In Norwegian Championships, he won the 1996 title in night orienteering and 2005 in the relay race. 2006, 2008 and 2009 was followed by four more titles in individual competitions. In 2011 he became Norwegian champion in the ultra-long - OL.

The orienteer Anne Margrethe Hausken is Nordberg's wife.
