Andover is a town in Merrimack County, New Hampshire in the United States.
History
First settlers arrived in 1715. 's Original name was " New Breton", named after the island of Cape Breton Island and its fighting between France and Canada. This was then used as the Phillips Academy in Andover (Massachusetts ) finished was renamed in Andover.
In 1822, Andover got a university, which opened six years later again closed and reorganized again in 1848. In 1874 the Northern Railroad Company the Potter Place Railroad Station, which now stands in the Register of Historic Places and a historical museum is built.
