András Bálint

András Bálint ( born April 26, 1943 in Pécs ) is a Hungarian actor.

Life

After completing his studies at the Film School Színház - és Bálint András Filmművészeti Egyetem 1965 received an engagement at the National Theatre ( Nemzeti Színház ) in his hometown. From 1969 he worked at the Budapest Madách Theatre. Later became director of Radnóti Theatre in Budapest.

His film debut was in 1958 Bálint even as a teenager with a small role in Gyorgy Revesz ' What a night. However, shortly before the end of his drama school and began his film career with the lead role in István Szabó's first feature film time of reverie (1964). By 1976, he appeared in all four of the following movies Szabó. A highlight among Balint's work in the Hungarian film was his starring role in Zoltán Fabris The Unfinished Sentence (1974).
