André Béhotéguy

André Béhotéguy (* October 19, 1900 in Bayonne, † July 14, 1960 in Nice ) was a French rugby union player. The only 1.66 meters small and about 69 kilograms inner three-quarters was nineteen times French national team. With the XV de France in 1924, he won the silver medal at the Olympic rugby tournament. He was also 1922 and 1923 French vice champion with his club Aviron Bayonnais.

Béhotéguy played in the French championship for Bayonne and U.S. Cognac. For the national team, he was born in 1923 against England to his first and 1929, also against England on his 19th and last mission. He was several times captain of the XV de France, in 1927, the first French victory against England in general, and against Germany in their first international match ever.

In addition to the Rugby Béhotéguy was also successful in other sports. He became a French rowing champion and represented France at international athletics competitions.

His brother Henri Béhotéguy was also French rugby international. In 1928 she came in five tests together for use.
