Career

Philadelphia 76ers ( 2004-2012 )

Iguodala was drafted 9th in the NBA Draft in 2004 by the Philadelphia 76ers. Already in his rookie season, he started all 82 games and scored 9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1.7 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. He was considered one of the best rookies of the season 2004/05. That's why he was allowed to participate in the Rookie Challenge at NBA All-Star Weekend 2005. He quickly established himself next to his teammates and the superstar of the team Allen Iverson, who found him regularly at Fast Breaks for alley-oop passes. In his second season he also started all 82 games and came to 12.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.3 blocks on average.

During the NBA 2006-2007 season the 76ers star Allen Iverson left the team and went to the Denver Nuggets, whereupon Iguodala took over his role as the first option. With an average of 18.2 (2006/ 07), 19.9 (2007/ 08) and 18.8 (2008/ 09) points in the regular season, he is one of the most important players in the Sixers. The following season, Iguodala had a bad start and led the league at times to even in the number of turnovers. However, he managed to adapt his game accordingly, and he led the 76ers with 40 victories, including 22 in the last 29 games in the playoffs. His average stood at 19.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. However, in the playoffs, the 76ers were defeated in the first round after just six games the Detroit Pistons. On August 17, 2008 Iguodala extended his contract with Philadelphia for five years ( and an optional sixth year) with a total value of $ 80 million.

Iguodala developed in the NBA 2008-2009 season as one of the best small forwards in the NBA. He was active as a point guard in the attack, and as the leader of the team. His average stood at 18.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. With 41 wins in the regular season the team managed once again a place in the playoffs, but had to quit after the first round. The following season, Iguodala recorded bests in rebounds, assists and blocks. His average stood at 17.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.7 steals per game. For a place in the NBA Playoffs 2010, but not enough unfortunately. Iguodala Although still one of the better players in the NBA, but he stood somewhat in the criticism because his stats have not improved significantly since five years.

After 67 games played in the NBA 2010/11 Iguodala has a Career High of 6.3 assists per game placed.

Denver Nuggets (2012 - 2013)

On August 10, 2012 moved Iguodala, as part of a four - team trade to the Denver Nuggets. In return, joined, among others, Dwight Howard to the Lakers and Andrew Bynum to the Philadelphia 76ers. With the Nuggets reached Iguodala 2012/2013 the playoffs. There, however, the Nuggets failed already in the 1st round to the Golden State Warriors. Over the summer break, Iguodala decided to sign a new contract with the Nuggets, and to leave the club.

Golden State Warriors ( Since 2013)

Iguodala finally moved to the Golden State Warriors. There he was given a contract until 2017 and is on the side of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson help the Warriors as a playoff team to re-establish itself.
