Andrea Andreani

Andrea Andreani, Italian (* 1540 in Mantua; † after 1610 in Mantova ) was an Italian engraver and cutter shape.

Andrea Andreani was a master in the sound pressure with several plates, such as those before him Ugo da Carpi had practiced. He delivered some of his works that he printed in woodcut, in the manner of Ugo da Carpi, in the so-called chiaroscuro. In 1584 he worked in Florence, 1586 in Siena, last perhaps since 1599, certainly after 1602, in Mantua, where it is mentioned for the last time in 1610. Year of his death is unknown, the data from other sources for 1623 in Rome based on a confusion with Bernardo Malpizzi, had collaborated with the Andreani.
