Andrea Berg (volleyball)

Andrea Berg ( born January 24, 1981 in Nordhorn ) is a former German volleyball player.

Career

Andrea Berg began playing volleyball at age seven. After she had played a few years at SCU Emlichheim, she moved in 2002 to USC Münster. There she enjoyed success as the German championship in 2004 and 2005 and also the 2004 and 2005 won DVV Cup victories. For the German national team Andrea Berg played between 2001 and 2006 26 internationals.

In the preseason Andrea Berg suffered a torn ACL in August 2008. After successful knee surgery she fell for the entire 2008/09 season as a player and captain of the USC Munster. 13 March 2010 Andrea Berg celebrated a successful comeback in the Bundesliga in the 3-2 victory of the USC Munster at Alemannia Aachen. 2013 ended Andrea Berg after 13 years at USC Münster her volleyball career.
