Andrea Cassarà

Andrea Cassarà ( born January 3, 1984 in Brescia ) is an Italian fencer. Cassarà was at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Olympic Champion with the Italian foil team. In the individual competition, he won the bronze medal. At the World Championships 2011 in Catania Cassarà won the world title in the individual competition. At the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, he was able to repeat the Olympic gold medal in the team competition, which was not in the Olympic program in 2008. Cassarà is sports soldier of the Carabinieri.
