Andrea Consigli ( born January 27, 1987 in Milan ) is an Italian footballer who is acting on the position of the goalkeeper and currently at Atalanta Bergamo under contract.

Career

Association

Consigli began his career at the age of eleven years in the youth division of Atalanta and went through every youth team.

In 2005 he was promoted to the senior squad, but continued to play in youth. In the seasons 2006/ 07 and 2007/ 08 he was awarded U.S. Sambenedettese and AC Rimini 1912 and completed both 32 and 35 games.

Since returning to the 2008/09 season Consigli is an integral part of the team and the undisputed first-choice goalkeeper. Meanwhile, he is also vice-captain of his team.

National

Consigli went through any U- national team of Italians and was part of the team that in 2009 just ahead of Germany failed in the U-21 European Championship in the semifinals. He was also part of the Italian Olympic team in Beijing in 2008, where, however, in the quarterfinals of the tournament defeated the Belgians.

His first convocation for the Italian national team, he received in 2012, where he was in the squad for the friendly international against England on August 15, there, however, was not used.
