Andrea Dossena ( born September 11, 1981 in Lodi, Italy) is an Italian football player.

Career

Andrea Dossena began his career at Hellas Verona, where he remained four years, as a youth player. 2005 him the club Udinese Calcio signed her, but he was first hired for a year at the FBC Treviso. As Dossena returned he played for Udinese Calcio in the 2006/ 07 season Serie A and took in the next two years at 63 games in part. On 18 October 2007 he played for the first time in the Italian national team in a friendly match against South Africa. On July 4, 2008 Andrea Dossena signed a four -year contract at Liverpool with an undisclosed transfer fee. He was engaged as a replacement for John Arne Riise, who moved to AS Roma. In January 2010, Dossena moved back to Italy and signed with Napoli a contract until 2014., The transfer fee to have amounted to around five million euros.

On September 2, 2013 Dossena moved to the end of the season on loan at Sunderland AFC.
