Andrea Hlaváčková

Andrea Hlaváčková ( born August 10, 1986 in Plzeň Pilsen Germany, then Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech female tennis player. Since 2012 she has been on the Czech Fed Cup team.

Career

On 13 May 2007, she won in Prague in their Czech home her first WTA tournament in the doubles side of Petra Cetkovská. Since 2008, she mainly plays doubles with her ​​compatriot Lucie Hradecká with which it has so far won eleven WTA title.

On 3 June 2011, she secured with Lucie Hradecká with which they reached the final in Memphis, her first title at a Grand Slam tournament. The two decided the final of the French Open against Sania Mirza and Elena Wesnina with 6:4 and 6:3 for themselves. Personal

Hlaváčkovás father Jan is a master brewer, her mother Jana doctor. Her older sister Jana Hlaváčková ( b. 1981 ) was also a professional tennis player; she reached in single 202 and double space 193 in the world rankings. In 2004, the two sisters played on ITF tournaments regularly double.
