Andrea Mitchell

Andrea Mitchell ( born October 30, 1946 in New York) is an American journalist, author and Fernsehkommentatorin.

Education & Career

In 1967, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania.

Since the late 1970s it is with the National Broadcasting Company ( NBC) under contract. From 1988 to 1992 she was a senior correspondent for the Congress of the United States from January 1993 to November 1994 she held the post of senior correspondent for the White House. She then moved to its current role as a senior correspondent for Foreign Affairs.

Family

In 1997 she married her second husband, Alan Greenspan, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank.

In 2005 she wrote a book titled " Talking Back ... to Presidents, Dictators, and Assorted Scoundrels ," a chronicle of her work as a journalist.
