Andrea Nuyt

Andrea Nuyt (born 10 July 1974 in Gouda) is a Dutch speed skater. Nuyt is particularly successful in the short distances over 500 and 1,000 m.

Nuyt is two times Dutch champion in the sprint. At the 2002 World Championships in Hamar Norway they took second place behind the USA's Catriona LeMay Doan -.

Twice took Nuyt previously participate in the Olympics. However, in 1998 in Nagano, she fell over 500 m. At the games in Salt Lake City, she was about 500 m and 1,000 m Fourth Eighth.

Nuyt is engaged to skater Carl Verheijen.
