Raggi in April 2012
Raggi comes from the youth department of FC Empoli. With 18 years and the change associated in the men's field, he was awarded to the fourth division U.S. Carrarese, there to gather their first match practice. After one season he returned to Empoli, who had meanwhile descended from Serie A to Serie B. In his first season Raggi was able to celebrate with his teammates direct comeback and play in the ordinary formation. Through the Italian football scandal in the 2006/07 season, he was able to achieve an excellent seventh place in the table and participation related to the UEFA Cup with Empoli. From the 2008/ 09 season, the defender played for league rivals Palermo, but who have already borrowed it during the winter break at Sampdoria. After spending the 2009/10 season as Players out on loan at FC Bologna, he went in July 2010 on loan to AS Bari. The Apulian club has also pledged a purchase option.
For the U-21 national team of Italy Andrea Raggi denied in 2007 a total of three games.
