Andreas Aigner

Andreas Aigner (* September 24 1984 in Leoben ) is an Austrian rally driver. He won the 2008 Production Ranking of the World Rally Championship.

Career

In 2005 he made ​​his debut in the World Rally Championship ( WRC) in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII at the Rally Cyprus. He took part in this year's three other WRC rallies. In 2006 he signed with the Red Bull Škoda team of Armin Schwarz. As a team-mate Harri Rovanpera he took part in a Škoda Fabia WRC rallies at ten. He scored his first WRC points with a sixth place in the Rally of Germany.

In 2007 he moved into the Production Evaluation of the World Rally Championship ( P- WRC) and drove a Red Bull financed Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX. He finished the season in 13th place. In 2008 he was World Champion, the P- WRC. He chose the P -WRC rallies in Argentina, Greece and Turkey for themselves. In Argentina, he was also eighth in the regular WRC standings in their overall rating, he finished 19th place.

In 2010 he started in the Austrian Rally Championship which he finished on the 6th place overall.
