Andreas Baum

Andreas Baum ( born July 5, 1978 in Kassel, Germany ) is a German politician of the Pirate Party.

Tree grew up in northern Hesse Kassel. After a college degree with college entrance he graduated from training as an industrial electrician. After a semester studying tree from 2000 media computer science in Siegen, he worked for three years for the German Telekom in North Rhine -Westphalia. Since 2003, the tree is living in Berlin and - now part time - employed in technical service of a telecommunications company.

Political career

Andreas Baum was involved in the work group on data retention and in 2006 was one of the founders of the Pirate Party Germany. From 2008 to 2011 he was chairman of the National Association of Berlin Party.

In the election to the Berlin House of Representatives on 18 September 2011 he was selected as the top candidate of his party in the House of Representatives of Berlin. At the same time a candidate tree to the choice of the Borough Assembly ( BVV ) center. On 27 September 2011, he was elected Chairmen of pirates in the Berlin House of Representatives. At a special meeting of the pirate faction in Berlin on June 22, 2012 tree was chosen along with Christopher Lauer for group leaders. In the subsequent election on June 11, 2013 tree did not occur again. He is a member of the Main Committee, Sports Committee and Subcommittee budgetary control and traffic, sports, and queer spokesman for the group.
