Andreas Birnbacher

Andreas Birnbacher ( born September 11, 1981 in Prien am Chiemsee ) is a German biathlete.

Career

Birnbacher, which is called by nickname " Birnei " is as sergeant major sports soldier in the army and there in the sports promotion group. First Birnbacher wanted to be a sports shooter. For biathlon he came when Birnbacher father his friend Fritz Fischer asked to take his son under the wing. Andreas Birnbacher lives in Bavaria Reit im Winkl and is trained by Fritz Fischer in a few kilometers away biathlon training center in Ruhpolding. On April 13, 2012, he married in Reit im Winkl. Two months later, he took part in Chieming am Chiemsee first triathlon. During his triathlon debut, he came in with numerous professionals strongly occupied space in 9th place
