Andreas Christoph Graf

M. Andreas Christoph Graf ( * 1701 in Augsburg, † 1776 ibid ) was the author of the etiquette booklet " The polite pupil " ( 1745).

Life

About him very little is known. He was a teacher ( the M. stands for Master's ), and his book is - in contrast to Emily Posts book about dealing with people - a real etiquette book to suggest the even then sometimes rebellious student body through an amusing verses collection manners and courtesy.
